Article 2001of the Canada-Colombia
Free Trade Agreement establishes the Joint Commission, made up of cabinet-level representatives, to supervise the implementation of
the Agreement, oversee its further elaboration, review its general functioning, supervise the work of the committees, working groups,
and country coordinators as well as to consider any other matters that may affect the operation of the Agreement.
The first meeting of the Free Trade Joint Commission took place in Ottawa, Canada, on 28 February 2014.
