On May 15, 2019, Colombia, Ecuador and Peru signed the UK-Andean Countries Trade Agreement in Quito,
Ecuador to ensure trade continuity agreement with the UK after it leaves the European Union.
In October 2019, Peru and the UK agreed to continue current trade benefits until the FTA recently signed
by the two nations enters into force.
In February 2020, it was announced that trade relations between Colombia, Ecuador and Peru will continue
to be governed by the Andean Countries-UK Agreement until December 31, 2020.
Ecuador's National Assembly approved the Ecuador-UK Trade Agreement on July 10, 2020.
