Colombia-MERCOSUR
  Background and Negotiations
   

On 21 July 2017, Colombia and the MERCOSUR countries of Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay and Uruguay signed an economic complementation agreement.

On July 24, 2018 Colombia and MERCOSUR signed the Additional Protocol on Trade in Services. This is the First Protocol to the Economic Complementation Agreement.

  Entry into Force
   

The Colombia-MERCOSUR Economic Complementation Agreement No 72 entered into force for Argentina-Colombia and Brazil-Colombia on December 20, 2017 after Argentina, Colombia and Brazil ratified the agreement and notified the Latin America Integration Association (ALADI, for its acronym in Spanish) the fulfillment of their internal procedures to ratify the agreement.
