MERCOSUR-Morocco
  Background and Negotiations
   

On 26 November 2004, the countries of MERCOSUR (Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay and Uruguay) signed a framework trade agreement with the Kingdom of Morocco, whose objective is to establish the conditions for the negotiation of a free trade agreement. The first round of negotiations was held in Rabat, Morocco on 11 April 2008.

The Framework Agreement on Trade between the MERCOSUR and the Kingdom of Morocco came into force on 29 April 2010.
