On July 4, 2023, began Free Trade Agreement (FTA) negotiations between the People's Republic of China and Honduras.
The second round of negotiations took place from September 4 to 7, 2023 in Beijing, China. The working groups focused on topics that covered trade in goods, technical barriers to trade, sanitary and phytosanitary measures, trade remedies, trade in services, financial services, investment, digital economy, competition policy, trade and environment, dispute settlement, and cooperation.
