On 14 May 2014, Panama and Israel concluded the first round
of negotiations for a free trade agreement. The second round took place in Panama City, from 2 to 5 March 2015.
The third and fourth rounds of negotiations were held in Jerusalem on 20-23 July and in Panama City on 16-19
November 2015, respectively. On 26 November 2015, Panama concluded free trade negotiations with Israel.
The Panama-Israel Free Trade Agreement was signed on May 18, 2018 in Jerusalem, Israel.
