Launching of the OAS MSME
Digitization Plan in Guatemala
Continuing with the OAS MSME Digitization Plan launched as a result of the VI Inter-American Dialogue of
High-Level MSME Authorities, held in El Salvador in April, 2019, the Ministry of Economy of Guatemala and KOLAU
signed a Letter of Understanding on October 23, 2019. The objective of this agreement is the free digitization
of more than 3,000 Guatemalan MSMEs per year.

Digitization Plan in Costa Rica
On October 17, 2019, the Ministry of Economy, Industry and Commerce of Costa Rica and KOLAU signed a Letter of Commitment
to launch the OAS MSME Digitization Plan in Costa Rica. The objective of this commitment is to digitize more than 3,500
Costa Rican MSMEs annually.
